Welcome to Acrylic Paint Review – a website with straightforward advice to help acrylic painters get the most out of their paints.

My name is Cindy Davis.  I’m the person behind Acrylic Paint Review.  I’m a painter myself and I know it’s not easy finding your artistic groove.  I have waded through a lot of paint, mediums, gels, glosses, varnishes, and brushes on my journey to artistic bliss.

I wouldn’t say that I have arrived just yet in Acrylic Utopia.  I am always still learning.  But I enjoy to sharing what I’ve learned so far.

I am the kind of dork who spends hours and hours reading the acrylic paint manufacturer’s websites. I also tend to frequent the Smithsonian section on archival painting.

I am not claiming to be an expert on acrylic paint, but I know that material handling and proper technical use of acrylic products is important for the professional artist or serious hobbyist alike.  The website is designed to help you understand how to use our acrylic paint as well as keep you updated on new acrylic paint products.

My background:

I have been painting and selling my abstrat acrylic paintings for over 6 years now. In the course of this activity, I have tested, used, and tossed a variety of acryic paint products.

I also own several different websites, most are related to art in some way.  As a former programmer, I ran kicking and screaming out of my corporate cubicle a few years back.

My business card states, “I make paintings and websites, pretty much in that order.”  I think that pretty well sums me up.

Having run my own personal art blog for several years, I decided to launch Acrylic Paint Review so that I could stop posting articles about acrylic  tips, techniques. and products on my CindyDavisArt.com because only painters are interested in this type of information.
